The 2007 Quality of Life Report confirms it. Over the last five years were grew the most (17.6% increase) and had the most content residents (92% of us are happy or very happy). Approximately 93% of us think our quality of life is good or very good - the highest in the report of 12 councils throughout New Zealand.
We had one of the highest employment growth rates, lowest unemployment rates, best rates of physical activity, friendliest neighbours and highest rise in median household incomes.
