Rodney Writes Writing competition

The Rodney Writes writing competition is open. Sponsored by Rodney District Council and run by Rodney Libraries it offers great cash prizes for writers of all ages and experience level.

There are three categories
Premier - open to entrants who have had creative writing published or broadcast for payment.
Novice - open to entrants who have not had creative writing published or broadcast for payment.
Young Writers - open to entrants under to age of 18 as at 1 January 2008.

Prizes
Premier - $1000 first prize, $500 runner up
Novice - $500 first prize, $200 runner up
Young Writers - $500 first prize, $200 runner up
