The Best of Lists

From the Listener magazine's Best Books of 2007 to The Women's Bookshop Guide to Good Books, this is the time of year when almost every publication you see has some sort of list in it of what others consider to be the best reading of the past year.

And the good news is that although some of the titles are a little obscure, most can be found at your local Rodney Library. 89% of the novels in the Listener list are available and 100% of the Women's Bookshop fiction titles are in the catalogue. The Summer Books reviewed by North and South this month have all been ordered or have just arrived and we also have most of the books mentioned in the latest Next magazine.
