CONGRATULATIONS to Leah Donaldson from Leigh Primary School. Leah was surprised at their end of term assembly this morning with a visit from the Mayor Penny Webster who presented Leah with a very swish looking purple bike. And if my camera skills don't fail me too badly, there will even be a photo some time next week.
Two consolation prizes were also drawn and these went to young Abergail Coleman from Warkworth Primary School and Benjamin Wakelin from Orewa North Primary School. They each received Paper Plus vouchers.
All children who entered the challenge will be receiving Certificates and these are being posted out in the next week or two. Well done to everyone and to all the schools and parents who supported this reading challenge.
