35th Wilkinson Trophy Race
Once again the Wellsford Road Runners present this 10km event on Saturday 19 July 2008 The race starts at 12.15pm and there are 3km & 4km races for Ages 7 - 16 years. Enjoy some country hospitality and a course run on tar seal. Register on the day at Kaipara Flats Hall – Children $3: Adults $12. Spot prizes and afternoon tea provided! The NZ Job Expo
is on this weekend 19 July 2008 - 20 July 2008 at the North Shore Events Centre.
Looking for a new job? Want to up-skill? After a lifestyle change in another region?
For one weekend, under one roof, NZ Job Expo brings over 100 New Zealand and Australian employers, economic developement boards, recruiters and educators together with job candidates. Doors are open 9am to 5pm each day. Tickets are $15 per adult and can be obtained by phoning (09) 431 2515

Craft Out West
Is on all weekend at Trusts Stadium in Henderson (10am to 4pm). Garden Art, Handcrafted Jewellery, Handmade Chocolates, Bears and Bear Supplies, Pacific Arts, Limited Edition Barbies, Teddy/Doll's Clothes, Glass Art, Beading, Patchwork and Supplies, Ceramics, Facepainting for the kids, Wooden toys, Scrapbooking, and more. Entry is $5 adults, $3 senior citizens and children under 12 free with proceeds going towards West Auckland Hospice, caring for local westies and their families, in their own homes, during terminal illness.

And finally for something just a little bit different Underpants on the Outside
Saturday 19 July from 10am to 2 pm at the Grey Lynn Community Centre. A collectors market day for geeks, sci-fi fans and the like with comic books, Trade-paperbacks, Star Wars Memorabilia, Retro/Vintage Toys, All sorts of figurines, Dr Who stuff, Badges, T-Shirts, all sorts of collectible stuff, original fan art, Awesome DOOR PRIZES!!!(drawn at 1pm)
