Kōrero Māori next week during Te Wiki o te Reo Māori. "Aotearoa - New Zealand has been celebrating Māori Language Week for over 30 years, and in July 2007 all Kiwis are again invited to join in. This year’s theme is ‘Tourism' or ‘Tāpoi’ in Māori – and there is a double focus: getting ‘On the Road with te Reo' and using ‘Kia ora’ every day." Find out more on the website here.
The libraries will have displays and posters with phrases on them. They also have a limited number of Anthem cards to give away - these have the first verse of the New Zealand National Anthem in Maori and English and the words to the haka on them. (Very useful if you're off to the rugby later in the year.)
