Thank you to everyone who returned home bound delivery survey forms. There are some very useful and thoughtful comments on them. We will be able to plan our services accordingly.
If you have filled out a form don't worry if you have missed the deadline. Feedback is always welcome - just drop it off at your local library.

Hello all housebound folk and interested parties.
I am a volunteer who delivers material to the housebound in our area. I have met some new people and renewed friendships with people I have known all my life. There are both young and old. The are two folk recovering from operations that have kept them semi housebound for a few months. The others are unable to get to the library because they are not well or mobile enough to take on the footpaths and the traffic with confidence.
I love my 'job' of taking books and audio material to these people. We have a good chat and catch up each time if we are both in the mood. Sometimes it is a quick drop off because of visitors and/or they are just to tired to be bothered. That is okay too. I just pop in and out.
If you know someone who needs our services and lives in Rodney please contact us and we will do the rest. If you would like to be a volunteer and deliver the material I can recommend the 'job' I find it a very satisfying 'job'. Looking forward to hearing from you. LJM
