Happy Christmas

Check out the trailer for a new film Happy Christmas starring both Anna Kendrick and Lena Dunham. I have watched it..let's just say A LOT. It looks like such a fun movie! Feelings aside re: the Twilight movies, Anna Kendrick has really landed herself some great and fun roles, and seems like a generally great and fun gal! I wanna be her friend.

Irresponsible 20-something Jenny arrives in Chicago to live with her older brother Jeff, a young film-maker living a happy existence with his novelist wife Kelly and their two-year-old son. Jenny's arrival shakes up their quiet domesticity as she and her friend Carson instigate an evolution in Kelly's life and career. Meanwhile, Jenny strikes up a rocky relationship with the family's baby sitter-cum-pot dealer.

While you wait for this to be released, check out the Kendrick in Pitch Perfect  and Up In The Air and get addicted to Lena Dunham created (and starred in) Girls !

My emotions! The TFIOS trailer is here!

One of my favourite books is being made into a movie and I am equal parts terrified and excited! I talk about The Fault in Our Stars all the time but if you're not sure what the heck i'm talking about see my previous blog about books that John Green has written.

I really hope they do this amazing book justice but after seeing the movie version of The Book Thief I have hope! The book is always better than the movie though so I'm not going to get my hopes up too high.

Trailer for the movie of The Book Thief (gulp!).

I am so terrified of them making this movie! The Book Thief is easily the best book I have ever read and I just dread the idea of them turning it into a movie. If you have read the book then I'm sure that, like me, you don't know how they're going to pull it off. If you haven't read the book then you should request it now for 2 reasons:

1. This book is incredible and will quickly become one of your favourites.
2. The minute the movie comes out the holds list will quadruple (at the very least).

I could not recommend this book highly enough.

As for the movie: High hopes, low expectations.
