It's Daffodil Day today. It's the culmination of a month of fundraising activities for the Cancer Society and is a time when we can support their work. They use the daffodil as their symbol as it is one of the first flowers of spring. It's bright yellow blooms that remind everyone of the joys the new season will bring. It represents the hope there is for all those affected by cancer.
The libraries have books about cancer including symptoms, therapies, and personal experience at 616.994.
